I want the AT&T Tilt phone - should I go with new ($299) or refurb ($149)?
My wife and I have refurb Tilt's. If I showed it to you, you would think that it was new. Mine had 1 hour of talk time used on it. My wife's had only 13 seconds on hers when she got it. I have never had any issue with my phone whatsoever. It is the best phone I have owned to date. Buying a refurb phone from a carrier is like buying a certified used car. New or refurb doesn't matter, AT&T does not provide insurance coverage for ANY PDA (Palm, Blackberry, or Tilt) so be careful with it. If you have money like that then buy the new one. But remember 90%+ of refurbs are just returns because someone didn't like the phone itself...
