My boyfriend has trust issues...?

My boyfriend is really wary about me going to prom with another person. He goes to another school, and had prom before we met. He is scared that I am going to do something, like cheat on him. I can't really blame him though, because every other girl he's been with has cheated on him. How can I get him to trust me more?
