Please help – name of random song from the 80’s?

Does anyone know the name of the song (possibly from the 80’s) that has a lady singing in a high-pitched voice for one part (maybe the first part of the song), and that part is sung acapella? I can’t remember the lyrics, but I know the melody from the acapella part is used in other songs. Gwen Stefani’s “Hollaback Girl” uses the same melody from the song in question during the verse of “Hollaback Girl” during the part where she sings “I’m ready to attack, gonna lead the pack, gonna get a touchdown, gonna take you out”, except the original song is much higher pitched.
