What do my dreams mean?

I've had a very painful experiance in my life recently of someone I love very much..like a son. Anyways I've been having alot of black in my dreams..and death. He didn't die but it was just a painfull experiance. I have dreamt more than once of a bite on me turning all black..it actually hurt too. And I also dreamed of a happy island ocean during black and be running across the waters to the safety of the island where I met an old man whom I became friends with and he said he was going to die..he made a coffen out of a pine tree for him and there are no pine trees on islands really..but the most colorful are the black bites on my skin..painful bites that like I said turn all black..What might this mean? Perhaps keeping my depression in?
